Using this site

Звездопадis a free, informational website that forecasts meteor-shower visibility. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees

Peak times, radiant altitude, moon illumination, and visibility ratings are computed from established astronomical formulas and public data (IMO/IAU shower parameters). They do not currently account for local cloud cover or light pollution at your exact viewing spot, and meteor showers are naturally variable — actual rates can differ from any forecast. Nothing on this site is a promise that you will see a meteor shower on a given night.

No professional advice

Content on this site is for general informational and entertainment purposes only and isn’t a substitute for professional astronomical, safety, or travel advice — use common sense and check local conditions before travelling to a viewing location, especially remote or unlit areas at night.

Acceptable use

Don’t scrape, reproduce, or redistribute this site’s content at scale, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Reasonable personal use — reading, sharing a link, checking your local forecast — is exactly what it’s for.

Waitlist

Joining the launch waitlist doesn’t create any obligation on our part to deliver an app by any particular date, or any obligation on yours. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the email address you provide.

No warranty, limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its forecasts.

Changes

We may update these terms or the site itself at any time. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
